Arsenal and FC Schalke 04 both missing some key players for their UEFA Champions League match.

Both Arsenal and their opponents tomorrow evening are missing some key players for their clash at Emirates Stadium.

Schalke 04 have flown to London for Wednesday’s Champions League clash against Arsenal with teenager Julian Draxler, but Greece defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos misses out.

The Greek centre-back has just returned to training after a bout of chicken pox, while 19-year-old Draxler is included despite breaking his forearm three weeks ago in the 2-all draw with Montpellier.

The teenager returned to training last week wearing a special cast over his arm, but it remains to be seen whether coach Huub Stevens includes him in the final match squad.

Arsenal are top of Group B after two wins with Schalke second and two points behind.

Manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed his team will be without the recovering Jack Wilshere, who should be available for the Gunners’ game against Queens Park Rangers this weekend.

Other absentees Theo Walcott, Kieran Gibbs, Wojciech Szczesny, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lukasz Fabianski, Tomas Rosicky and Abou Diaby are not ready to return, but centre back Laurent Koscielny could make his comeback.
