With the opening match of EURO 2012 now in full swing, everyone at fanatix HQ wanted to let users know that more fans will be rewarded during the June Leaderboard Competition.
As previously reported on the fanatix Blog, the winner of the competition will be awarded two tickets to a sporting event of their choice. However, we can now confirm more fans will be rewarded for checking in to events over the course of the month.
The fanatix Team will be awarding prizes to the nine highest scoring runners up in the Global Leaderboard Competition at the end of the June.
These prizes for each of the runners up will confirmed nearer the end of the competition.

The Rules:
1. The June Leaderboard competition and any other competitions run by fanatix are not sponsored by Apple, nor is Apple involved in any way whatsoever.
2. Points are earned for check ins throughout June. The competition will start at 10:00am on June 6th and close at 11:59pm on June 30th 2012.
3. Points will be awarded for all events checked in to during this time, regardless of event date.
4. Points will be awarded as follows: 10 points for check ins prior to the event start time (as detailed on fanatix), 15 points for all check ins during an event and 2 bonus points when a friend checks in to an event you are checked in to.
5. Points will not be awarded for users checking into historic events, i.e. events that have finished.
6. Points for a check in will only be awarded once, i.e. points will not be awarded to users who check in to events that they have previously been checked in to and then checked out of.
7. The Global Leaderboard will be reset at 00:00 on July 1st 2012.
8. All fanatix points for future events will be deleted when the global leaderboard is reset.
9. The winner of the competition will be the fanatix user with the most points in the global leaderboard as of June 30th 2012.
10. In the event of a draw at the end of the month, the fanatix team will select a winner at random from the users who have the equal highest points total.
11. Prizes will also be awarded for nine highest scoring runners up. These prizes will be confirmed nearer the end of the competition.
The Terms and Conditions:
1. The June Leaderboard competition and any other competitions run by fanatix are not sponsored by Apple, nor is Apple involved in any way whatsoever.
2. Points will only be awarded to users who check in via the fanatix iPad/iPhone applications including the CaughtOffside App between June 6th and June 30th 2012.
3. In order to enter the June fanatix competition, users must be older than 18 years of age.
4. The winner will receive two tickets to a sporting event of their choice taking place between June 30th and December 31st 2012.
5. Tickets will be sourced by the fanatix team to a maximum total value of £1,000 including fees and are subject to availability.
6. No travel, accommodation or additional expenses whatsoever will be incurred by fanatix.
7. The June leaderboard competition will in not be effected by other fanatix competitions or prize draws during the month of June.
8. The winner and runners up will be notified via email within 7 days of the close of the competition and will have 14 days to respond (the claim period). In the event that fanatix does not hear back from the winners within the claim period, the competition is declared null and void.
9. The competition is not open to employees or contractors of fanatix, or any person directly or indirectly involved with those who have worked with the fanatix company.
10. fanatix has the right to change, cancel or extend prize offerings at our absolute discretion during the running of the competition.
